Job vacancy: News Coordinator at Play the Game

As our present News Coordinator Kirsten Sparre has decided to explore new paths in her professional life, Play the Game seeks her successor to begin as soon as possible.

The primary task of the News Coordinator is the maintenance and editing of the website www.playthegame.org . The News Coordinator is also responsible for gathering content for our bi-weekly sports political newsletter and will take part in the preparations for Play the Game’s 5th world conference on sport and society in Reykjavik in October 2007.

After having reconstructed the website and taken care of the flow of news production at Play the Game since April 2005, Kirsten Sparre wishes to work on a broader range of issues and use her academic qualifications as a PhD by taking on more tasks in academic analysis and teaching.

“We regret the loss of a very qualified colleague who has set a high standard for our news and website production. But we understand her motives for leaving and appreciate that she has created an excellent foundation for her successor”, says Jens Sejer Andersen, director of Play the Game.
