The Sports Management conference EASM 2012 presents an exciting programme

UCN Sport Management and Play the Game/Danish Institute for Sports Studies are ready to present the detailed programme draft for the sports management conference EASM 2012. It is still possible to register for the conference, which takes place in Aalborg, Denmark on 18-21 September.

The detailed programme draft for the 20th conference of the European Association for Sports Management (EASM) is nearing completion, and includes both scientific and practical presentations in up to ten parallel sessions.

The conference organisers from the University College of Northern Denmark (UCN), along with co-hosts Play the Game/Danish Institute for Sports Studies, have almost finished the great puzzle of fitting the more than 200 scientific presentations and the special Play the Game symposia together in the programme for the main EASM conference on 19-21 September.

The great number of presentations covers 24 different themes and workshops, and the special Play the Game symposia will introduce a range of invited speakers and prominent keynotes from the very top of the international world of sports.

400 delegates have already signed up for various conference events in Aalborg and more delegates are still to come.

In the run up to the conference, the organisers will publish accepted abstracts on the conference website, where plenary sessions and presentations from the Play the Game symposia also will be available on video after the conference.
