Profile:
Bernardo was a member of the original team at Lance!, Brazil’s largest sports daily.
He has also been a manager at award-winning Brazilian Communication firm Textual, where by overseeing or dealing with some of the main accounts, like Coca-Cola, Technogym and the Brazilian Olympic Committee.
He has been involved in major sporting events such as the Beijing 2008 and Athens 2004 Olympics, the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, and Rio 2007 and Santo Domingo 2003 Pan American Games.
With a Masters in Sport Management from London Metropolitan University, he has now relocated to the UK, where he is working as a freelance international sports correspondent for publications in Brazil as Placar magazine and Globo.com, covering the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Cup, the FA Cup, the Premier League and the Brazilian national football team, amongst other events.
