1) INTERNATIONAL VOLLEYBALL TRIES TO  REMOVE SPEAKER FROM CONFERENCE  

The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has attempted to threaten Play the Game into withdrawing an invitation to FIVB-critic, Mario Goijman, and deny him a platform to voice his criticisms of governance in the FIVB. Play the Game is not intimidated and has instead repeated the invitation to FIVB to come and present its side of the story at Play the Game 2005.

We are ready to present the programme for Play the Game 2005. Check the schedule and plan your week in Copenhagen. We only foresee minor changes in the schedule, but will of course continue to update the programme with speakers and presentations.

3) DISCOUNTS ON REGISTRATION CLOSES 1 SEPTEMBER

If you want to get a considerable discount on your registration fee for Play the Game 2005 then it is time to act. The offer of early bird discounts closes on 1 September 2005.  Note also that freelance journalists and students are eligible for a 15 per cent discount on fees.
