streetfootballworld's new website

The German sport and development agency streetfootballworld has relaunched its website, www.streetfootballworld.org. The website has been redesigned to make it easier for journalists and stakeholders to gain an overview of the streetfootballworld network, as well as to provide a platform for individual network members to tell the world directly about their development work.

“Because our over 70 streetfootballworld network members are at the heart of what we do, we have provided each one with their own section of the site where they can present themselves interactively to the world,” says Carolin Strunz, Head of Communications at streetfootballworld.

“Some members currently don’t have an online presence outside of the streetfootballworld website, so this is a great way for them to display their work to the world in an interactive way.  They can upload documents, photos, blog entries and information about their programmes and partnerships anytime.  To make sure that their news gets as much attention as possible, their blogs, news and events are also featured on our homepage,” says Strunz.

The streetfootballworld website offers news from across the world of Development through Football, offers insight into more than just the organisation itself. Also new on the site is a press section, where journalists can find the latest press releases, photos, logos and publications as well as upcoming events and latest news from streetfootballworld.

Streetfootballworld is a social profit organisation that links relevant actors in the field of Development through Football.  Established in 2002, the organisation encourages global partnerships for development in order to contribute to positive social change.

Recent inductees into the Streetfootballworld network include Sport dans la Ville (France), Sport Against Racism Ireland, Magic Bus/Childlink India Foundation and NAWA Life Trust (Namibia).
