FIVB leaders have asked the next World Congress to delete an article in FIVB's financial regulations that says that FIVB members can receive 10 per cent commission on the value of all sponsorship and television contracts they sign on behalf of the organisation. Ruben Acosta ruled the FIVB with an iron fist for 24 years before his sudden and unexpected decision to step down from the presidency just after the Beijing Olympics. Now his successor, Jizhong Wei from China, appears to have started a showdown with Acosta's legacy by calling for changes that would have been unthinkable less than a year ago. Latest News

What is used to be mention on the paper is something but reality is always different. Do you know that there's another organization against FIVB named WVBF that is spreading worldwide clumsily & slimy ethics and transparency? Do you know what they did and how are they fair? Rules are not the problem, problem is the persons behind the facts.

I congratulate Mr. Wei Jizhong for those thinkings, but there is something important in volleyball between the players and national federations, the clubs which make the pleyers since they are children, and in countries where there is not professional league, then the NF's leaders, negociate their contracts, pusshing appart the clubs of origin, because they don't have any contract. Mr Wei Jizhong, must think in those clubs so they try harder in raise up more players.
