Sanjay Tewari is a Law and Science Graduate, a Post Graduate in Sociology and a MBA. He happens to be a National Technical Official of the Athletics Federation of India and also of the International Paralympic Committee Athletics Championships 2010.
Sanjay works for the biggest Life Insurance Company of India and is on its Corporate Board. Being a Management graduate, a Sociologist coupled with a long corporate exposure, Sanjay has been presenting papers at many national and international conferences and has some good publications to his credit.
His specific areas of interest are Sociology of Sports, Sociology of Religion, Sociology of Leisure and Tourism and Sociology of Health. He intends to enhance his qualifications in the area of IPC with international qualifications for officiating and proposes to go for a PhD in the area of Sociology of Sports, with specific reference to India, where less work has been carried out in this area.
