An ardent and passionate sports fan in general and football in particular, he is at the very moment on the verge of completing a dream study- a Masters degree in sport- at the University of Konstanz, Germany Asides football.
Professionally, he has previously worked in sport media marketing as relationship manager, majorly responsible for sourcing for advert and sponsorship for the company’s television and radio programmes This was in addition to having developed and subsequently being responsible for the production as well as presentation, on Radio, of Medi Sport, a 15 minutes sports and health programme, conceptualized to combat the increasing health issues and problems of emergent modern day lifestyle diseases.
With regards to veterinary medicine, however, asides from numerous internship work experiences with private veterinary firms as well as government establishments , the bulk of his work has mainly been of scholarship nature as a research assistant and scientist working with molecular biology techniques of polymerase chain reaction,(PCR), recombinant DNA technology and genetic engineering, in general, with the aim and objective of gaining a better insight into the underlying mechanism of the pathology, pathogenesis and prognosis of such viral infections as Feline Borna disease virus , Mink Astrovirus and Equine arteritis virus with a view to improved diagnosis, prevention and treatment as well as ultimately geared towards vaccine development |
