Doctor en Ciencias Politicas y Sociologia, Seccin Sociologia", Madrid, 1990.

Doctor en Filosofia y Ciencias de la Educacin, Universitat de Barcelona, 1993.

 

Main Areas of Research:
Sport Sociology (socialisation, space, communication, youth, women). Sport Facilities (planning, technical approach).

Author or co-author of six books and several articles on sports sociology.

Associated editor and contributor to The International Review for the Sociology of Sport (IRSS) since 1991- and president of the Asociacin Espanola de Investigacin Social Aplicada al Deporte (AEISAD) since 1991.
