Field of specialization: gender studies, sociology of body and sociology of sport.
An author of a book “Sociology of the body” (2009), coeditor of a book “Looking at ageing“ (2009) and author of more than twenty articles, among others “Sport as a terrain of (re)production of gender” and „Representations of sports bodies in media – (re)construction of gender?” Co-organizer of the conference “Sociological struggle with sport”, January 2009, Poznań, Poland.
Currently, working on postdoctoral dissertation concerning gender boundaries in sports.
