1973-75 Assistant teacher at Copenhagen University
1975-78 Teacher at Den frie Lrerskole (teachers school preparing students for the \"folkehjskoler\")
1978-85 Headmaster of Sklskr Folkehjskole
1985-92 Leader of the Secretariat for the Association of Folkehjskoler in Denmark
1992-96 Headmaster of Brandbjerg Hjskole
Member of Det Radikale Venstre (radical-liberal party, centrist) since 1984, on the partys board since 1986.
Candidate for parliament since 1986.
Member of the City Council of Skælskør 1990-92 and of Vejle County Council since 1994.
