Camelia Tigau has a PhD in Social and Political Studies.
Between 1996 – 2004, she worked as a journalist and cultural secretary with the Embassy of Mexico in Romania.
At present, she is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center of North American Studies, National Autonomous University of Mexico, where she is undertaking a project on scientific diplomacy applied to biotechnological cooperation in North America.
