Annette first joined the Faculty in 1995 and has taught Land Law, Property Law, Business Associations and Legal Drafting and Conveyancing. She also co-ordinates the Property Law and Corporate and Commercial Modules for the Online Professional Legal Training Program.
Annette’s academic research interests include: - Sports Law with a particular focus on the governance of football, the anti-doping
- regime and comparative policies of the major codes;
- Real Property Law and the impact of consumer protection principles on land transactions;
- Corporations Law and the Business Judgment Rule
Annette was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1991. During her legal practice career she was principal of Greenhow & Associates, later joining Corrs Chambers Westgarth and managing the firm’s Gold Coast office. She currently provides consultancy services to a number of industry groups and regularly presents on topics for the Queensland Law Society and other conference organisers.
Annette is a member of the Commercial Law Research Centre and a member of the Faculty’s External Relations Committee. |
