Since 2000, Matthieu Reeb has been Secretary General of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Prior to this, he was functioning as counsel to the Court, starting in 1995. Among other duties, he is responsible for the management of the court, supervising arbitration procedures and organizing the CAS ad hoc Divisions. In 1998, Matthieu Reeb edited the first 'Digest of CAS Awards' , which in 1999 won the René Cassin Prize, awarded every three years by the Académie française des Sciences Morales et Politiques. He edited additional Digests of CAS awards in 2001 and in 2004 (Kluwer Law Editions). He is also the author of several articles related to the CAS and its case law. Matthieu Reeb has practised athletics and rugby at national level until 1995, and as a junior athlete, he was Swiss champion twice in athletics. |
