Stefano Caneppele, Ph.D., is associate professor in criminology in the Faculty of Law, Criminal Sciences and Public Administration (University of Lausanne) and member of the School of Criminal Sciences. He holds an academic course focused on Sport, Crime & Integrity at the Master of Law in Criminology and Security (University of Lausanne). His main research topics are organized crime, economic crime and crime prevention. Member of the UNIL Research Platform on sport, he is currently working on a project on Sport & Integrity funded by the Faculty. In Spring 2017, he coordinated for the School of Criminal Sciences a pilot project – promoted by the Council of Europe - on a database of alleged cases of corruption in sport.
