Els De Waegeneer has completed her PhD on Sport Ethics, more specifically on Ethical Codes and Fair Play in Sport Organizations, in 2015 at Ghent University, Belgium. Since then she is working as a post-doctoral researcher for the same organization. Her work focuses on Ethical Climate in sport organizations, Ethical Codes and Match-fixing. She is a board member of the International Centre for Ethics in Sport (ICES) and she is president of the Ethical Advisory Commission of sport federations FROS and Sporta.
