Raymond Kerckhoffs was the youngest journalist ever to officially cover the Tour de France, in 1990, at 18 years old. He studied economics at the University of Maastricht and graduated with its Wall Street Journal Achievement Award. He has covered 28 Tours de France, 5 Olympic Games, and also the European and World Cup soccer championships. Kerckhoffs has been the president of the AIJC since 2012.
