Jesper has been involved in the fight for integrity in sport for many years. In his current position as legal manager of Anti Doping Denmark (ADD), Jesper is on a daily basis involved in the fight against doping and match fixing. Besides its anti-doping work, ADD is the secretariat for Denmark's National Platform against match fixing and an active member of the Council of Europe's network of national platforms called the Group of Copenhagen.

Jesper has been prosecuting doping cases in Denmark for the last 25 years. He was one of the main national organisers of WADA's 2003 World Anti Doping Conference in Copenhagen where the World Anti Doping Code was adopted, and Jesper has worked with anti-doping regulations nationally and internationally ever since.

For the NOC and Sports Confederation of Denmark, Jesper was chef de mission for Denmark at 8 Olympic Games from 1998 to 2012. Following that, he was instrumental in setting up common rules against match fixing and similar unethical behaviour and a match fixing secretariat within the NOC. The rules cover all the NOC's 61 member federations.

Outside of work, Jesper is an avid golfer and golf writer. As a sports fan, he is trying to keep his faith in a world of cheating and corruption.

Jesper is a veteran participant in the Play the Game conferences and was also a member of the Programme Committee for the 2015 Play the Game.
