Sine Agergaard

Sine Agergaard is a social anthropologist and an associate professor in the Section for Sport Science, Department of Public Health, Aarhus University, Denmark.

Her research focuses on migration and integration issues within sport. She has published a number of articles in peer-reviewed journals, such as International Review for the Sociology of Sport, Leisure Studies and Nordic Journal of Migration Research.

She has contributed to and edited several books, among others: Women, Soccer and Transnational Migration published by Routledge in 2014.

She is a co-founder and the current manager of the International Network for Research in Sport and Migration Issues (www.sportmigration.au.dk).
