Florian Petrica is a lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences, Bucharest University and commentator of the Eurosport pan-European television.
He is currently joining Play The Game at the "SGO2017" EU Erasmus + project on good governance in national sports federations. He also collaborated with Play The Game for the International Sport Press Survey 2005 and 2011.
For 24 years he has worked as a TV journalist, both as a presenter and sports commentator, as well as a presenter and anchor of news broadcasts, at some of the most important Romanian televisions.
Florian Petrica was awarded the doctoral degree at the National University of Physical Education and Sports in Bucharest with the thesis entitled "Media Strategies for Promoting Sport Values" in 2010.
In the summer of 2017 he published the volume Sports, Superstars, Media, focused on the reflection of sports values in the Romanian sports press.
