Additions to Knowledge Bank

30 July 2008

Play the Game has added articles by Georg Facius, who has held high-level positions within both European and World Athletics, and Julian Summerhayes, a UK-based lawyer, to the Play the Game Knowledge Bank.

Facius's article examines the plight of double-gender and transsexual athletes in international athletics, while Summerhayes's article looks at a recent ruling in the UK courts that has implications for the legal liability of sports clubs for the actions of their players in off-the-ball incidents.
